Road Access

The Parish lies to the north of the A419, the Stroud to Cirencester Road, about five miles from Stroud and ten miles from Cirencester. Many of the roads in the area consist of steep narrow lanes and drivers need to take care if following sat nav as this can direct you to unsuitable routes. The main routes to the top of the Parish (Bussage, Brownshill, Chalford Hill and Brownshill) are Toadsmoor, the Old Neighbourhood and via Bisley.

The nearest motorway junctions are M5 (junction 13 via A419 ) M4 (junction 18 via A46 or junction 15 via A419).

Rail Access

Nearest railway station is Stroud (5 miles) with regular services to London and Cheltenham.

Rail Strikes: GWR are recommending that even where services are possible customers should only travel if absolutely necessary, services will be busy, and there will not be any replacement road transport.   It is also important to note that there could be further changes, even on the day, particularly if cover cannot be maintained for signal boxes, where routes will need to stop operating.
