Chalford Baptist Church is a small but lively congregation. At the heart of our church lies a desire to know Jesus and make Him known.

Our Sunday morning service includes both contemporary and traditional songs and people are encouraged to join in with flags and percussion instruments. Prayer is both corporate and individual and is spirit led.

The chapel at Chalford was originally built in 1724 on the main Stroud to Cirencester road and beside the Thames - Severn canal.

The chief glory of this church lies in its Arts and Crafts Movement furnishings taking inspiration from ideas of William Morris. The stained glass is in part by Edward Payne and its quality reflects that the area in which the church is situated is known as "Golden Valley".

St Mary and All Angels Roman Catholic Chapel

The chapel is idyllically sited overlooking the Golden Valley, the site made more poignant by the run of identically sized memorial crosses which mark the graves of Bertha and Katherine and a number of local Catholic priests, monks and laymen and women.

St Michael and All Angels, Bussage is listed Grade II and has an interesting and important history, as it was founded by members of the Oxford Movement. The pretty church is in a small churchyard and is of traditional layout and design with a Square west tower, a nave and a chancel.
