Stagecoach - Disruption to service 67

Published: 30 March 2022

Stagecoach apologise for this period of uncertainty with their service, there has been a dramatic increase in staff sickness in recent weeks and although the local team are doing their best to manage the situation this has caused some unavoidable disruption to the 67 service due to a shortage of drivers''
Stagecoach do have new drivers in their Training School, however, until they are back at full capacity, they will have no option but to cancel some services. While we understand that it is difficult for Stagecoach to predict staff sickness too far in advance, we have asked for them to keep updated so that we are able to communicate any cancellations to residents.
We are also aware that due to the closure of Middle Hill (which is in progress at the moment - hopefully this will be finished by Friday) this has meant that residents have had no choice but to walk to Bluebell Rise to catch the bus in some instances.
The best platform to view cancellations is via the Stagecoach Twitter Account @Stagecoach_West.  If you don't have twitter, you can open their twitter account on your browser bar by opening the below link
Going forward we will keep our Facebook page updated with any disruption to services where possible.
