Thomas Keble students' citizenship campaign

Published: 25 November 2021

Food Share: A group of students from Thomas Keble School contacted us recently about setting up a food sharing facility as part of their citizenship GCSE. We wanted to support them with their idea so we are pleased to say we have a crate full of food just inside the foyer at the Parish Centre on top of the 'Freezer of Love'. Dry items such as tins, pasta, packets etc can be donated and anyone is welcome to take what they need. Please help yourself during opening hours Monday to Thursday 10am until 3pm. During the Spring/Summer additional crates will be placed at the ‘swap stations’ at the three allotment sites in Brownshill, France Lynch and Middle Hill. Allotment tenants will kindly donate surplus produce and residents are welcome to help themselves. We wish the students all the best with their project and look forward to helping with their campaign.
